Neon Oakley Frogskins: COWABUNGA, Dude!

An icon of 80’s fashion, Frogskins sunglasses put Oakley on the map, making the company one of the world’s top sunglasses manufacturers.  First released in 1985,  Oakley Frogskins became a style staple and made celebrity appearances in music videos, on the red carpet, and on the big screen.  Without compromising performance, Oakley developed a uniquely contagious design that also held up to everyday wear and the revolutionary trends of one of fashion’s most memorable decades.

Since their release over 30 years ago, other manufacturers have imitated the Frogskins’ standout design.

Native Highline

Native Eyewear’s Highline adds a modern twist to the 80’s classic.

Costa Prop

Costa Del Mar’s Prop sunglasses are a contemporary, chic take on Oakley’s original design.

Arnette’s Firedrill sunglasses take on the Frogskins’ iconic shape and bold colors.

Discontinued in the mid 90s, Frogskins made a comeback in 2007 with improved frame, lens, and hinge technology.  More popular than ever, Frogskins are now available in a variety of original and new colors.
